I attended the AGM and I suspect that there may only have been one other retail shareholder. Not a lot of new information was given as the presentation from the RIU Sydney Conference was used with little modification. There was the opportunity to ask questions, however with the company in a trading halt there was limited scope to get any significant response. We were advised that the trading halt would be lifted early next week as there was still one issue outstanding in relation to the value added scoping study.
In talking about the value added scoping study it was very evident that the Chairman in particular was having difficulty in hiding his excitement about the potential of this study.

Centaurus also believe that they have the potential to increase the size of the project as there are still many areas that need to be drilled.

The iron ore project has a lower priority even though it is considered to be a valuable asset.

I came away with a quiet confidence that the nickel project has the potential to be a world class mine, although supply would not come on stream until 2024.
