Interesting. I hold CVV (who have E70/2338, which is the one listed under Eastern Goldfields and dated back to 2000) and was looking at the overlapping tenements on geoview the other day. I was wondering who GE Resources were.
Caravel claim they pegged the ground 20 years ago, then it was taken over by Round Oak Minerals (subsidiary of WHSP), and CVV earlier this year farmed back in as operator. If you search for CVV and Mt William, there are plenty of news articles/presentations/etc.
It seems to me that CVV have first right to explore the feature, however they need to sort out the objection from Alcoa and then spend 500k within 2 years to earn 51%. Maybe DEV are hoping the E70/2338 application is rejected or CVV decide their main Cu project is enough.
