So.. OBM will end up with about 980m shares.
A market cap of $170m, with perhaps $30m in cash. No debt, and still unhedged. I am guessing Hawkes Point do not want hedging.
E/V of $140m.
Just goes to show how important it is to raise extra capital for developers (though to be fair, I did think they had enough, but that was of course on the expectation that ramp up would go according to plan, or even just close to plan, which it has not).
While it won't be pleasant to watch when it starts trading again, I like OBM for its play on a higher POG. Yep, still lots of risk, but... upside is worthy of attention.
I wonder if other developers are really taking note of what happened here.
Perhaps developers need 2 full months of ore on the ROM from now on......
