Having had a quick read through the ANN, I feel a bit underwhelmed. The positive (increase in mitochondrial ATP generation)) is balanced by the fact that the levels of cell apoptosis (cell death) in the treated cells (Fig 3) are still higher than healthy cells. The fact that no "P values" are given to clarify whether these differences are significant or not makes me nervous. The other point was that they are "accelerating" toward clinical trials in 2 years' time. Gee; I'm glad they're not going slowly...
