My take on this is that the already cornerstone investor LG is putting more capital in the project to get a good hold before any other customers come in. They previously put in $6m. If I was in their position having purchased at $1.10, I would certainly be taking up a larger issue (but at what price?) to assist the company (and also average down the cost of the investment)
