if you read in the announcement today, the wording is very cute. It states the company "will purchase an extra 18 RTX servers" by the 31 October milestone date. So they have bought themselves more time to kick the can down the road, plenty can happen in the next five months, and allow another competitor like Optus /Telstra / Aussie Broadband to come in.....

There is no guarantee the company will purchase this equipment over the next 5 months, as after failing to meet deadlines, it is very much a case of believe it when you see it, as it is debatable how credible this company now is.

It is interesting to read this sentence in conjunction with the RISKS section in the Presentation document today that states "There is no guarantee Pentanet will be granted exclusivity in Australia, for a period or at all."
