I think the financiers would be pretty happy. Sucks a bit for shareholders to be diluted, but on the debt side the bankers don't care, they are more concerned with the economics of the project, the risk and the payback period.
If rabbits aren't pulled from hats, I suspect we'll get pushed down to around 13c as is the norm for CRs. Maybe a bit above or below, then it will pump up enough so the parties with the short term view can get their profits locked in. Might dip again, then ideally we can start moving up inline with the sector. We still have the shadow of a monster cr to deal with... And many a delayed milestone which the market doesn't like. Perhaps all will be forgiven if/when fid/financing/mining/ml eventuates. Or maybe the name of the insto will hold some real weight.

Borg buying on market for ffx was a solid move. Take note avz Board! Very clear and effective message.

Agreed. A lot of negative comments over the past two days and personally, I can't disagree that a CR @13.0c is disappointing to say the least...

But... if an insto is announced as Glencore or VW (publicly stated they will be vertically integrating towards the raw material) or an equally large company, would the Hot Copper sentiment suddenly change again? Would posters start praising Nige and the other board members?

The realist in my says that such an insto signing at this stage might be unlikely, but the optimist is desperate to cling to that hope!
