my reading/impression of the above is the term "delta" is used idiosyncratically by PIQ rather than refers to any standard or complex statistical terminology. therefore, i guess the above simply says:

* PromarkerD score (Δ score) is called "Δ score"

* PromarkerD scores can be from "0 to 100%".

* At baseline, the participants as a group had a mean (average) PromarkerD score of 10.1%

* mean (average) patients on canagliflozin decreased the mean PromarkerD Δ score by -1.0%

* those on placebo increased Δ score by 3.9%

* patients with high-risk on canagliflozin significantly lowered Δ score by -5.6%

* those high risk on placebo increased Δ score by 3.2%

if my interpretation is correct, this means:

* mean (average) patients on canagliflozin reduced their risk by 9.5% (i.e., -1.0 divided by 10.1)

* mean (average) patients on placebo increased their risk by 38.6 % (i.e., 3.9 divided by 10.1)

* high risk patients on canagliflozin reduced their risk by 55.5% (i.e., -5.6 divided by 10.1)

* high risk patients on placebo increased their risk by 31.7 % (i.e., 3.2 divided by 10.1)

i'd like to get confirmation of this
