Comparing WSI to another construction company I've invested in, JLG. Appreciate there are differences between these two but just taking a general view.
JLG
- MC = $1.2b
- FY21 revenue = $500m.
- Cash = $50m.
WSI
- MC = $30m
- FY21 revenue = $80m
- Cash = $13m.
Based on direct proportionality using revenue/MC and cash/MC adopting JLG's ratio, WSI's MC may be estimated to be:
$192m (based on revenue) - equivalent to a SP of 19.2c.
$312m (based on cash) - equivalent to a SP of 31.2c.
Obviously there are other examples of ASX listed construction companies to do further comparisons and other ways of looking at things but I'll leave that to others.
