A nothing burger story that gets media attention....funny that this gets more coverage than record results! A positive is that this could very well attract eyes. Some of those eyes could be investors...and any serious investor would look straight past this story and without much research effort see what’s on offer!
and off topic onto labour laws and politics:
- labour laws here sit in a decent place, middle of the road...not at the extremes. On one end, the US where employees have close to no rights (my uneducated opinion....has something to do with a legacy from way back when they used to ship the workforce in)....or the other end eg.much of Europe where employee rights are so strong it takes some serious dumb stuff or big bucks to move someone along
- haven’t liberal (the “business” party) been in power for the last I don’t know...20 years?! and no, I don’t support any party
