from your rants I can tell you have never been a leader or had a successful team. Sorry mate. I’ve relied on staff all my life and I owe a lot of my success for that and building a team. Human error happens. You lead, but not manage people. That last point is challenging to some and I accept that. You don’t manage people if your seeking success. That doesn’t foster success.
Your views would see a company spiral badly with no respect for staff. I note you feel it sends a message to the others, but that message may well be to jump ship at the next opportunity. I’ve never had a job, so I do feel in a position to challenge you nicely.
