No trading today unless they announce the completion of the placement today which is unlikely - perhaps after trade today.

I expect the announcement early tomorrow morning the placement has been completed and we will open at 10am.

I think the action for first few hours of trade will be significant. There will be funds wanting / needing to get in but will have to do so slowly to get the amount of shares they want.

40 cents by end of Wed trade seems likely but even if it doesn't go up a lot, this is now a medium-long term hold.

I've always thought $1/share soon after production was possible. If things go to plan I would imagine it's a formality assuming spod prices hold up nicely or increase.

CXO is now in my top 3 stock holdings and I look forward to it growing a lot in value just like PLS and GXY have done in recent times.

I entered CXO very cautiously late 2020 after being punished in the down market (deep in the red!!), so didn't get as many as I would like, but topped up along the way and it will still be a nice holding in the long term. Not early retirement type stuff but certainly a treat or two in due course such as nice holidays and a car or two.

This is one of the most "value accretive" deals I have seen since PLS bought the Altura assets. If that's any guide at all, then CXO will do very nicely from here
