- looks like IOU plan to spend some of that $50 mil to accelerate market penetration
- they state an acquisition/investment, complimentary to the BNPL business, so I dont think its additional markets
Now recently a stock im invested in on NQ is AFRM (https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AFRM), a $25 Billion USD BNPL company whos SP rocketed on news they had signed a partnership with Amazon ie rapid market penetration
I suspect that something similar we are dealing with here, IOU is making a purchase that allows them to accelerate exposure of their BNPL business
The wording investment/acquisition makes me think they arent doing an 100% buyout, but maybe a controlling share
