They don't have until end of day - they have until commencement of trading in 31 minutes to either provide the announcement or request an extension (Voluntary Suspension). Otherwise the stock will commence trading as per normal with potentially Market-Sensitive info known by certain parties which ASX will not allow as they can trade based on privileged info.
