The $12m "Other Income" is not really an income - GDC have clarified these are the appreciation of their data centre portfolio values. But since most real estate management companies (e.g. Scentre Group / Vicinity Centre / Dexus) have record the appreciation / depreciation as their profit / losses I would say GDC's profit is largely depending on their investment portfolio rather than business activities - At the moment it is about breakeven only.
