What is really important here is the difference not in drilling technique - each shows the rocks in differing detail however the gold mineralisaion nearly always relies on assays, where as much of the nickel mineralisation especially the high grade ones occurs often in massive sulphides - and this is self evident in all forms of drilling - actual grades welll their another thing and come later on, but hitting massive sulphides where there is no drilling etc etc before and is often then known to everyone on site pretty quickly - then it is legit to ann - it must be emphasised though it does not mean a discovery until u do receive assays and it must be emphasised that this IS NOT referring to what has actually happened on site for MHK - it is speculation but it is also to answer your question - it may well be assays from their gold drilling campaign - but as mentioned with labs snowed with samples - the turn around is 4 to 8 weeks in many cases so it suggests it is unlikely to be that - but one hole into a nickel target all be it RC may still require a TH if massive sulphides were intersected IMHO DYOR
