I recognise the optionality that was not my concern.
If you are going to dilute existing shareholders at least give them the option to participate on the same terms as the placement.
The fact that the placement was so oversubscribed makes it even more galling and unnecessary….I have little doubt that 40m could have been raised at 1.31 possibly even with a better placement/SPP for existing shareholders.
