Wow ... 1 for 3 offer. Will need to come up with lots of money quickly. I feel like you have to participate since its at a good discount to the share price. A bit like the reinvestment plan where you are mad if you don't. I am curious why they want to do it. Is it just to increase fee revenue or is there some other medium term purpose in mind. They talk about current lack of liquidity of RF1 shares. However the lack of liquidity seems to just increase the premium so i like it the way it is. I also more generally like that the fund is small. It seems that the offer proceeds will be allocated to strategies in line with current allocations .. so no change there. So i guess the only reason is more fee revenue for Regal.
