Because a sophisticated buyer snagged a parcel at 57 or whatever doesn’t mean the market drops to that level any more than finding a Rembrandt in an op shop devalues all the others held in galleries. Quite the opposite - there’s one less Rembrandt to be found.
Whether or not anyone ‘likes’ a CR or thinks it’s a good or bad idea … one thing is dead-set certain … there will not be another CR in the next 30 days!
More likely SP price tomorrow (oops today) or whenever we resume will be flat or my guess higher than 66 - if the timing of today’s news doesn’t convince the wider market that BNL is on the ball and worth looking at … nothing will.
