Can't see tool makers like Makita switching to LFP from NMC.

Besides, LFP is really about electrifying developing economies as there's not enough of the best to go around, and the best goes first to the rich economies. China is innovating in that space precisely because Western EVs are too expensive for its lower and middle classes, and probably over-powered and over-sized for big crowded cities.

NMC is still the standard for a high level balance of energy density, longevity and stability. NMC811 will continue to be used by first-world vehicle and tool makers for decades, IMO.
