This is where your assumptions are incorrect.
You don’t have to like the MD to invest in the company. I don’t think SW has been truthful with shareholders (based on published statements V his actions) and this is the second time he’s blatantly done the opposite of what he has publicly stated, and everyone that has held BSX for some time knows the SP performance following their $0.42 CR.
Yes, I’m well in the green and have a large BSX holding but SW is one of the reasons this isn’t my largest nickel position. I invest in BSX for what I believe is in the ground (ie, lots of nickel), and the MD has zero influence on that! I have much greater confidence in the ability of the MD of my #1 nickel play than SW. That’s me, perhaps you’re different, but I doubt I’m the only one that is here for the underlying commodity and not because of the MD.
