Well I see opportunity (mainly Butchers Creek, in WA, with covid under control there if not absent). Unfortunately I am not sophisticated, either in name or number.
The Company and Dr Tunks committed to try for that deep porphyry, and made a good try - I bought in for that play and knowing that there was near surface JORC gold as backup. No regrets, finding porphyries, or SEDEX or IOCG is a numbers game, and I personally have half a dozen more in play.
Now with cash needed (Cash burn last Q was 1.7m and cash balance 2.2m) I feel quite sure there will be a change of tack to get some gold mined asap.
I'm hoping the raise at current SP will be more one to show support than of mega dollars, but the sophs will dictate that. At $25mil cap MEI is no tiddler flipping in the mud, so I expect support - if holders are offered I will certainly stomp up. Otherwise wait to see how SP settles in the short term.
GL all. History is of little importance - what is important is the DD you do now, and what happens in the future.
