It depends what stocks they hold I suppose. MTC got well overpriced so that made it a natural choice to sell. Many would only have bought MTC in recent months to get the free WR1s anyway. The mistake many made was to figure they were getting the equivalent of about a 30% dividend by buying MTC pre WR1 record date, but that was only the case when the MTC SP was 20c, the same as WR1s. Every rise in the MTC SP from that price on diluted the 'dividend.' At 60c it became only around 10% for instance, and for those who paid up to 80c even lower.
