Yeah exactly this, they can close the raise in a day if it's to sophisticated investors. If they did a retail offer it would take weeks. and hold up the share price even more.
The offer closed super fast, I got the notification, put in a bid, went to take a dump - pondering if I should increase my bid from $25k to $35k but by the time I finished up and got back to the laptop the offer was closed so my $25k bid couldn't be increased. Need more fibre to avoid this in future.
