I think they're probably wanting to take advantage of the relatively bullish sentiment towards gold and strike while the iron's hot. But yes, no real immediate funding concerns but a substantial exploration budget is required given TCG's very large land holding - see my comments on the other thread.
What would be great would be if they announced the bringing in of a top-tier cornerstone investor, imo it's just a matter of time.
