All a bit mysterious given we knew the pricing of the offer on Wednesday.
My view is this trading halt will allow for the announcement on Monday morning of the result of the first day of trading results in the US which is tonight 19th Nov. I can only speculate that management is aware that the demand is huge and that a big uplift on listing is expected, thus making that inside information and warranting a trading halt.
Regardless, the ASX is as much a marketing tool as a regulator, so will just sit back and relax on this one knowing we were able to make our investment decisions before the hype and if the marketing adds further value and awareness of NVA, then all the better to retire early says I.
