I can’t see this raise having a significantly negative impact on the share price. At worst the issue of 10m more shares is a dilution of about 7%. So perhaps theoretical impact of 7% x $3.77 = $0.26 per share.
however, I think many LT holders thought yesterday’s news was worth a multi-dollar re-rate in price over the next couple of months as the market becomes aware of the potential from the “heart protective and more efficacious” treatment using Zantrene as an adjuvant with existing SoC treatments in large existing markets.
personally, with yesterday’s news, I think the potential value of a transaction for race has increased, the chances that it will happen have improved, and the time for it to be realised has decreased.
