Clearly the timing of this TH relates to Valeo's release yesterday. Brainchip would have been well aware of the Valeo update on LidarV3 and possibly did not envisage the level of speculation re Akida involvement in the technology. There is likely still a great deal of moving parts to the relationship and deal terms (eg licensing, terms etc) may not yet be finalsied so BRN were not planning to announce anything yet to ASX. However because of the speculation BRN's hand has been forced and because of continuous disclosure obligations - will need to update the market on where the negotiations are at.

Posters on HC are wildly dreaming if they think this TH relates to something else or other parties (NASA, Samsung etc). How much more clear can it be that trading halt gets announced less than 12 hours post Valeo update (where they were questioned on BRN involvement)!
