This is true, but the asx have tightened up this year with their stance on pumping stocks. I saw it happen a few months ago with another stock where this scenario played out, and they went into a halt for nearly a week trying to iron out compliance issues. The asx wanted figures that couldn't be provided to prove it was material, and the announcement was turfed as a news release. You may be right, but I'm not ruling out the scenario.
