@AWASP Not a bad point. In the recent update IOU said that due to the level 4 lockdown restrictions there was a six-month loan moratorium which caused disruption to credit reporting and a number of backlogs. The agreement to purchase contained variations if profit was not going to be achieved.

So what may happen is that IDSB is not going to reach $10mil in profit as they have all these backlogs and moratorium, and the purchase price could have been moved down significantly, potentially allowing IOU to purchase in one go (say for $32mil).

That would not be a bad result, if when the backlog is removed that the following year we can get more profit but paid less.

In saying that, I think it is more reasonable to expect what @Ryzie said, and it's probably just to keep the market informed and it will be standard tranche 1 payment.
