Agree except on the price. The plant alone has a replacement cost of $100 with costs in WA mining increasing all the time.
Also there would be a build time of at least 12 months on a new pant given the labour shortages in WA.
Sure the 800K oz au are worth $20 oz au?
ASX companies are supposed to get shareholder approval to dispose of major assets and I think there would be a backlash if they get less than $50m all up..
Selling the gold project shows a high level of confidence in the copper and with a lot of exploration cash MDI could re rate imo.
