AFR disrupted the process with the premature release of news that FFX was "ringing around"..... so the confidentiality was breached.
BOD denial was ill-advised, yes, but its apparent they weren't ready to announce finalised arrangements - so caught between a rock and a hard place they turned right instead of left..... this is merely a faux pas.
announcement of funding, confirming AFR suspicions, left holders with confusion.

what happens for holders when confused? panic in this environment apparently.....

our senior posters have given excellent discussion points. We haven't been duped as commercial in confidence negotiations need to be finalised before announcements can be made.

only a few weeks ago posters were complaining that the MD was hired on the premise that he would enable debt funding.... so now it looks like we've got all the funding required to complete Morilla and Goulamina without need for further funding. Fully Funded? What's wrong with that?

not at all deceptive imo. but doing things properly and completing negotiations before announcing funding is appropriate.

Cashed up and ready to go! Without toxic debt terms to boot. I for one will be sleeping pretty soundly knowing the direction that this company is headed, I do hope that other holders/investors/flippers/rampers/whatever your business is will be able to do likewise.
