The existing Vifor/Fresenius partnership hasn't got a lot of coverage, but I'm thinking there could be some potential for synergies here.
Fresenius operates about 2,500 dialysis centres across the United States, and since these are all fully staffed up with nurses and other medical professionals, couldn't some of them be redeveloped or dual-purposed for plasma collection. (You drive your relative to a dialysis centre, and since you've got to hang around for an hour or two anyway, why not donate blood and pick up $80 to cover your petrol costs + some Maccas).
