Throw my guess in the ring - it's a manufacturing agreement also.

• They wanted to be in production this year as stated at the AGM.
• The recent 4C talks in some length on the importance of transferring to "mass production lines". Was a big focus of that ann.
• In the half-yearly update, they mentioned the tape out of the 2nd gen controller was well advanced. That should be finished now and ready for the fab.
• They can't be going out to customers with a few 'just ok' chips constructed manually; they need to make a few million and get the customer outreach moving.

All a guess - find out soon enough.
