This Altor Alpha Fund is in Business to make some serious returns.
If it is them and I think it is but we will soon find out.
Taking out Tamarind means they see plenty upside TEG/PGY.
Whats the motive and are they acting on behalf of Pilot who they also own a chunk of?
So I still don't sort of get the strategy with Pilot tho - We at TEG are all about Oil and Gas and getting more of it and staying in production for longer and extending life of field. Even more so now given the price of POO and gas.
Pilot are all about wanting to convert it all, they want all the infra eventually, they show and discuss in their presos
I have spoken to PGY management at length last year and still I am in the dark and how this TEG/PGY will all pan out in the long run
So something has to give. Is this the start, I am only taking a punt.
If it is Altor Alpha Fund then it could be they see some good growth story in TEG given POO and gas demand and also possibly our GAS holding maybe. If that is AAF buying more in market as well yesterday, well could be game on.
They are based in Brisbane, GAS is in Brisbane, if still a GAS believer then our holding in GAS is very attractive
If it is Altor Alpha fund would be interesting to know their intentions
What I do know and can say is that IMHO TEG is soooo undervalued at present its a total joke
We at TEG have plenty news to come. TEG is primed to make serious moves IMHO.
Maybe AAF think same if they are the buyer. Like I said we will soon find out.
