If this deal goes through and TOT does not exercise it's options to buy selected assets from the IAP portfolio, it represents a massive profit.
TOT owns 12.84% of IAP
87m shares X ($1.90 - if deal goes through - $1.41 - average buy price) = $43m gain
Over the years some posters have said how sharp management are - basically they have scared up a deal out of not much, if it goes through.
At times I have looked at TOT wondering if it was a good investment - the change in strategy from debt to assets with annuity like returns, it seems like the deal making is just part of the DNA of the management team
Interesting to see what the share price is after the trading halt, then there is the discount still to close.
