1) I agree that the battery project has strong economics. They should have done this raise earlier when the SP was above 20c or they should have found a JV partner, so they could minimise the share dilution.
2) Global pandemic resulted with unprecented excess liquidity in the financial markets, which pushed down project funding costs substantially in CY21. Prior to the pandemic, I doubt that they would have found financing with such lucrative terms.
3) It does not make me happy that I am not the only investor participated in their previous CR and I am under water.
4) Quick flip on GNX? You got to be kidding me! The SP has been around or below 20c in the last 5 years. If someone wants quick money, they can just invest in base metal or lithium stocks and can earn more in one day than with GNX in the past few years.
A company director, whose salary is primarily paid by shareholders (GNX is unprofitable) sold most of his shares halfway through building the key hydro, solar and battery projects and I should be happy, because he is an excellent charater? Is this some kind of charity organisation?
