In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 7.1, Brookside Energy Ltd (‘Brookside’ or the ‘Company’hereby requests that ASX grant an immediate halt in trading of Brookside’s securities pending the release of an announcement by the Company regarding the acceleration of the Flames Well drilling, the partial underwriting of the exercise of BRKOB options and a short-term funding facility proposed to be made available to the Company from CPS Capital Group Pty Ltd. The Company requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of trading on Monday, 7 March 2022 and such time as the Company makes the announcement referred to above
