yes the past problems with PNC have been gone over many times, and while their are differing views on the responsibility for those problems, they are now in the past. So you have to assess whether you own CCP with $2bn of market cap or second placed PNC with a market cap of $42m. I think there is a need for a second player in the PDL space so over time I suspect PNC can close this market cap gap! The sellers of the PDLs such as CBA, WBC obviosuly want to erncourage competition so will support competitors to CCP, hence I do not see this gap in market cap continuing in the long run.....
