    This is an old article (2021), but raises some VERY good points regarding nuclear power in Sweden. Especially in regards to the costs associated to increasing their power grid WITHOUT nuclear presence (e.g wind/solar). We all know that money talks more than most things in the government. Also interesting to note the statistics in regards to Swedish people being strongly pro nuclear from the data they collected. I acknowledge being pro nuclear power does not = pro uranium mining. But if you can decrease government expenses by avoiding large infrastructure costs for wind/solar (see figures in article), and also generate tax revenue by opening a uranium mine, that does seem to sound attractive.
