Wireline perforations are done with Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) such that the well is a closed system. To this end the most likely result here is that pressure spikes may be observed in the casing upon perforation. This is assuming the well fluid has been conditioned during drilling to allow a hydrostatic pressure less than reservoir pressure. I'm not sure if this is the case or not.

The pressure response would infer reservoir deliverability but it won't be definitive given significant wellbore volume such that wellbore storage would likely prevent actual determination of permeability in the build up.

Given that the flow test equipment is not yet on site, I doubt the announcement will include anything relating to types of fluid or flow rates.

Out of curiosity does anyone know if the well test package will include a CTU to set a down hole packer and condition the well fluid if it hasn't been previously done?
