The only thing that might be of risk is that there was an intraday low of 14.5cents in the AUN SP about a month ago which is qualifies as a termination event under the Lazarus Underwriting agreement but that was it and there is strategic support to ensure the SP stays above 15c. All other termination event clauses appears to be safe. But that was awhile ago and something minor

if anything, the high gold prices might be a positive because BCN recently were able to hedge a huge chunk of their forward production at $2715/AUD
At $2715/AUD we could have done something similar and progressed into production....
there could be a restart at Sandstone alot sooner.
If anything i would prefer the acquisition fall over. We sell forward at $2715, undertake an entitlement offer raise to fund part of the plant refurb & secure finance for the rest.
Gold prices are higher from here.
But i think the deal is too far done, it'd be hard to back out now.
