There is a step after you receive results which is load the results into a specific type of geology data base in a specific way.
The data base allows for a report to be produced which companies use for announcements. These reports are also use by consultants to produce resource estimates.
Compilation of a geology data base is a step which most companies farm out to a specialist company or individual, hence the delay.
When you buy an exploration project you expect the geology data base to be a complete mess. It tends to take a significant amount of time to sort out all the mistakes geologists have made, if you can get back to the raw data from the lab and you can trace back where the samples have been taken from.
