Yes this can be the right answer. They are now getting 1-3 years future value. Just I am thinking if somebody offers me 3 years salary today I would probably also quit my daily job. And also the owners are types of people who like to start the company from scratch and sell it in early years. They are not types of guys who wants to growth the company in long term to setup dividend program. That's why they decided to buy-back shares instead. They wanted to increase the SP pretty quickly and therefore buy-back action was quite aggressive.

You are right there is a high chance that these guys will startup again new ASX listed telco company sooner or later and we should be here and wait for IPO.
