My guess would be that the volume yesterday was the result of yesterdays announcement, not the halt. Day traders chasing it up to make a quick buck and then getting out before the volume vanished.
If they have found something worthwhile they will need more capital so hopefully Alan is stacking a few good (amazing!) announcements together to get the stock price heading higher for a cap raise.
