Looks like a couple of options contracts were executed on MEL this arvo as wellNot a small amount either, i think thats about 5% dilution on those.
Yeah. It means in the money options have been exercised. That means the company gets cash from exercising the options, good thing, but it also means those options get converted to new shares which dilutes existing holders, and also means those holders can now sell shares if they want.It really depends on who owned them. Some shareholders happy to hold. And if good news continues to come, then any selling will be absorbed. Sometime option exercising can cap a stock with the people who owned them selling a lot.
