I like that sentiment "C", besides Kens timing. He would have had to have seen what progress they were making, and probably would not have jumped onboard when he did. If he could see that things were not going so well or we were struggling with the short loop and PL3 not so sure he would be onboard. So i'm thinking your'e close to what where going to hear, Ken gets to notch up one last major achievement to look back upon. At Kens age he doesn't have years to waste on a maybe or fail.
