Not always....PLS did a similar thing when they bought out AJM via Aus Super and a retail spp. I bought my allotment of spp shares at .36c, they were already circa .55c....I sold that parcel of PLS shares (still have my main holding) over a year later for $3.34. Different stage of development I know, but if it is say a buy in from a Posco type, then on market they most likely will be higher than .27c
For mine this isn't a cr to keep the lights on, this is fast tracking to commissioning a mine.
I am happy I bought a few more the other day, and I'll take up my allotment in the spp if I am offered any.
