I spose this has come out of the blue and surprised a lot of people. So if its a raise that is not an investment by POSCO, and its just some investors through those capital firms then what could potentially be going on. $185m loan through the gov, say $10m in the bank, say $50m from this raise, so that would give RNU approx $245m potentially, then further investment from POSCO for who knows how much, They have previously stated in the last investor presentation that "The MOU provides scope for strategic cooperation between POSCO and Renascor including the potential for equity investment by POSCO International. Discussions with POSCO regarding the nature of the strategic cooperation are ongoing".

Also, if i remember right, there is possible further funding through another gov initiative, also for who knows how much? @bombersmadd what is the other gov funding initiative again? I'm sure there was another one?

I'm not very experienced in investing but either something has changed unexpectedly in the project, or from what they are seeing from the revised DFS, the project may be a lot bigger than first anticipated in original DFS and will require more up front capital? just throwing a couple of thoughts out there. anyone else with more experience than myself have any thoughts they'd like to share?
