Just thinking out loud here as other possible suitors...
Albermarle have Kemerton processing plant coming online soon, 8 hours drive from ESS land.
2 trains just finished construction, another 2 trains due to start construction next year.
Greenbushes is being expanded but they may be looking for more feed?
There's also Covalent (Wesfarmers) about to start construction of their processing plant in Kwinana.
Not sure of their plans for expansion though.
Point is there may be some local companies looking to secure future feed for their respective plants.
